Police Arrest Framingham Man on Motor Vehicle Charges

FRAMINGHAM – – Framingham Police arrested one of the owners of Braza Bar & Grill minutes before he was scheduled to appear at a Framingham License Commission meeting at City Hall.

Police arrested Alessandro Vicente, 34, of 4 Cunningham Drive in Framingham after he ran a red light/stop sign at 609 Waverley Street at 6:52 p.m.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle after his license was suspended, operating a motor vehicle after his registration was suspended/revoked and the motor vehicle stop sign/red light violation.

The owners of Braza were scheduled to come before the Framingham License Commission Monday night trying to re-open. Vicente showed up at the hearing late.

The restaurant served a 6-day alcohol license suspension from Dec 26 to Dec 31.

The restaurant/bar.function hall has yet to open in 2020, as it is missing several important documentation needed by the City to renew its operating, alcohol, and entertainment licenses.

The establishment also has more than a dozen code and fire violations it needs to address before it can re-open and serve food.
