2 Framingham Restaurants Did Not Renew Licenses for 2020; 4 Renewals Approved Monday Night

FRAMINGHAM – Two Framingham restaurants failed to submit paperwork to renew their operating licenses for 2020.

Both Ricon La Cabana and Nuestro Caribe restaurants have not submitted paperwork to the City of Framingham to operate as of January 6, 2020.

Ricon La Cabana, a South American restaurant, with Ecuadorian flavors, opened in spring 2018. It stopped operating in mid-2019.

Nuestro Caribe, at 55 Frederick Street, was still serving Caribbean food, in early December 2019.

Last night, the Framingham License Commission approved late renewal paperwork for restaurants.

Under health code rules, theestablishments were not allowed to operate and serve food until the licenses were approved last night by the Commission.

Approved January 6 were:

  • Frescafe, 82 Concord Street
  • Hot Breads, 494 Worcester Road
  • McDonald’s 343 Cochituate Road
  • Zheng Garden, 847 Edgell Road
