Police Investigating Shooting in Hudson

HUDSON – Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Hudson Chief of Police Michael Burks have confirmed the investigation into an apparent shooting that occurred today around 2 p.m. on Howe Street in Hudson. 

The preliminary investigation suggests that shots were fired into a vehicle, a female adult victim was subsequently transported to an area hospital. 

The investigation into the incident is open and ongoing, no arrests have been made.

Following the incident Camela A. Farley Elementary School was placed on lockdown as a precaution and some bus transportation was suspended at Quinn Middle School.


The school has notified parents and is now conducting a controlled dismissal. Parents with additional questions should contact the school.

This incident is being investigated by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Hudson Police and Massachusetts State Police assigned to the District Attorney’s office.
