FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s Department of Public Works held its 3rd annual open house on Saturday, December 7.
Little kids, and big kids, could check out the department’s trucks and equipment at DPW headquarters at 100 Western Avenue.
The Framingham Public Library’s bookmobile also was in attendance.
There were also activities and educational booths inside for attendees.
Those who stopped by could also check out the operations center for the department.
Framingham DPW is responsible for keeping the city’s miles of road and street clear during snowstorms, maintaining the city’s water and sewer system, and weekly curbside collection of trash and recyclables.
