UPDATE: Source in speaking with parents and students has determined there was an altercation, involving a few girls, in between class, but inside the high school this morning, Nov. 19.
The following was sent to parents tonight, November 19.
“An incident involving an isolated group of students occurred this morning at Framingham High School. Staff immediately intervened and at no point was the greater school community in danger. The situation has been investigated and is being handled by the school administration and the Framingham Police Department,” said the Principal.
“We are actively collaborating to identify additional strategies and resources that address student conflict management. These interventions will serve to educate students on preventative and effective methods for conflict resolution,” said Principal
“We take all matters of school safety seriously and appreciate your support as we work to ensure the wellbeing of all of our students and staff. If you have any questions or your children need support as a result of this incident, please have them seek out their school counselor or their Vice Principal,” said Principal Carolyn Banach.
