The following is a press release from the Framingham Public Schools
FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Public Schools is proud that four of the nine elementary schools offer dual language education options for incoming Kindergartners. This is great news for parents who wish for their child(ren) to be bilingual, bicultural, and biliterate, and to experience programs that deliver meaningful, challenging, and accelerated instruction.
Incoming Kindergarten families have the choice of Two-Way Spanish programs at Barbieri and Brophy Elementary Schools and Two-Way Portuguese programs at Potter Road and Woodrow Wilson Elementary Schools.
The Bilingual Education Department is hosting two information sessions in November and December for families that are interested in learning more about dual language and the various models offered at each school. This is especially important as Kindergarten registration approaches for the 2019-2020 school year.
● Wednesday, November 20 at 6:30 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Woodrow Wilson Elementary School (169 Leland St, Framingham)
● Wednesday, December 11 at 6;30 p.m. in the Cafeteria at Brophy Elementary School (575 Pleasant St, Framingham)
