City of Framingham Orders Auction of $1 Million Home

FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham has ordered the auction of a home valued by City assessors in excess of $1 million.

The auction will take place on Thursday, November 21 at 11 a.m. with bidder registration at 10 a.m. for the 2015 home at 24 Wayside Inn Road.

Located in Trails at Wayside, this 2015 Colonial-style house site on about 3 acres. The house is 4,567 square feet of living space.

City taxes in 2019 was $15,423.

The auction is due to non-payment of taxes.

The auctioneer describes the home as having ” 5 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms with tile and a chef’s kitchen with granite, a 10-foot island and a pantry. A private au pair suite with sitting area is ideal as a bedroom or in-home office. The open floor plan boasts cherry hardwood floors, wet bar, two-sided gas fireplace, dual staircases,” etc.

The home features a “front porch with columns, multiple sliders to rear mahogany deck, walkout basement with high ceilings, an attic ready for expansion and a three-car garage.”
