BUFFALO, NEW YORK – The University of Massachusetts men’s cross country closed out the 2019 Season on Friday afternoon at the NCAA Northeast Regional at the University at Buffalo, placing 23rd out of 37 schools with 634 points in the team scoring.
Harvard won the meet with 59 points followed by Syracuse (86) and Iona (96).
Senior Dawson Bathgate was the top finisher for the Minutemen in 114th overall, completing the 10K road course in 30 minutes, 52.9 seconds.
Freshman Benjamin Burgess was the fifth runner for the UMass team in 147th place overall, crossing the finish in 31 minutes, 20.3 seconds.
Burgess is a Framingham High graduate – class of 2019.
