UPDATED: Mayor’s Senior Advisor Leaving For Kennedy Senate Campaign

FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Yvonne Spicer’s senior advisor Jacquetta Van Zandt is leaving to work for the senate campaign for Congressman Joseph Kennedy III.

The news website Politico reported Van Zandt leaving yesterday, November 14.

The senior advisor for external affairs has a pay range of  $71,377 – $92,333.

Van Zandt started on January 22, 2018, with a starting rate of $41.22 or $80,382.12. (She is pictured in the photo above in red with the Mayor.)

Mayor Spicer created the two senior advisor positions when she took office.

She laid off one of the two advisors in June of 2018.

U.S. Rep. Kennedy is planning to challenge Senator Ed Markey in the September 2020 Democratic primary.
