UPDATED: Firefighters Extinguish Framingham House Fire

FRAMINGHAM – Firefighters extinguished a house fire Friday night, November 8.

Firefighters were called to 32 Wilmont Road in Framingham just before 7:30 p.m.

The homeowner had a fire in the fireplace and it got into the wall, said Framingham Deputy Fire Chief Brian Connolly.

There was fire, smoke, and water damage to the ranch house, located off Summer Street

Engine 2, Engine 5, Tower 1, and Rescue 1 responded to the fire at 7:26 p.m., said the deputy fire chief.

There were no injuries, said the deputy fire chief.

The ranch house is valued at about $349,000, according to the Framingham assessors database.
