Walls Join Framingham Police Force

FRAMINGHAM – Officer Kristen Walls was sworn in yesterday, November 6, as a Framingham Police Officer.

She was a transfer hire from the City of Marlborough Police Department.

Officer Walls has a Master’s Degree from Framingham State University in Public Administration.

Prior to joining the Framingham Police Department, Officer Walls worked for the Framingham State University Police Department between 2009
and 2015. She then joined the City of Marlborough Police Department in 2015 as a Police Officer, where she was assigned to the Patrol Division.

Officer Kristen Walls is also an active member of the Massachusetts Army National Guard, holding the rank of Major. She is currently assigned as an Intelligence Officer / Company Commander, overseeing 277 soldiers.

Officer Walls comes to the Framingham Police Department as a certified First Responder and CPR instructor as well as a RAD Instructor.

Officer Walls stated in her application for transfer, that with her combined Police and Military experience, she feels she can bring the necessary skills to serve as a Framingham Police Officer.

Officer Walls after being sworn in was pinned by her mother, Laura Walls and her grandmother, Betty Ippolitto.
