FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High freshman Sam Burgess was the fastest Flyer at the Bay State Conference Cross-country championship meet over the weekend.
Burgess finished 21st out of almost 90 runners in the event.
His time was 16:59.3 minutes.
Milton senior Robert Carew was the fastest on the course, and won the Bay State Conference individual title in 15:59.3 minutes.
Framingham sophomore Arnay Singh was 29th overall in 17.15.7 minutes.
Flyer Sam Moffat, a junior, was third for the Flyers and 33rd overall in 12:23.9 minutes.
Senior Matt Hom competed and finished 46th, while sophomore Shand Seiffert finished 54th overall.
Framingham senior Lucas Marshall finished 69th overall.
Framingham High boys cross-country finished 8th out of 10 teams at the Wrentham Development center on Saturday, October 26.
