1 The community is invited to a Stand Up for Shabbat: A Shabbat of Solidarity, Pride and Unity tonight at 7:15 at Temple Beth Am.

The uplifting musical Interfaith Shabbat Service of Harmony and Togetherness Friday was planned after a  report of middle school students creating an anti-Semitic group over the holiday weekend.

3. According to the Mayor’s public schedule,  Mayor Yvonne Spicer will attend the event unveiling the replica of Neil Armstrong’s NASA spacesuit on the campus of Framingham State University. The event is closed to the public.

4. This weekend is the deadline to purchase a ticket to the Framingham High athletic hall of fame.

The induction ceremony is Friday, November 1 at the Framingham Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center, and includes two former professional baseball players, a former NFL player, 2 All-American lacrosse players, and a former Boston College star football player who then went on to a 3-decade+ career with Framingham Police.
