Meeting October 24 To Discuss Removing Billboards in Downtown Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Clear Channel Outdoor is working with the City of Framingham on a proposal that would include the removal of old out-of-date billboards in downtown Framingham.

In addition to removing the billboards, Clear Channel Outdoor is offering to make annual payments to the City and donate public service messages.

In return, the City will support the Company’s efforts to obtain necessary permits and approvals to allow for a new digital billboard to be located
along the Massachusetts Turnpike at 500 Old Connecticut Path.

When: Thursday, October 24, 7-8:45 p.m.

Where: McAuliffe Branch Library at 746 Water St, Framingham, MA 01701 (Community Room)

Why: Discuss proposal and address potential concerns Clear Channel Outdoor has stated the efforts outlined in the proposal will not negatively affect abutters but want to make sure residents are comfortable with the project and the process.
