UPDATED: Girard Crosses Finish Line First; Natick Defeats Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Natick senior Genna Girard won the cross-country race between Natick High and Framingham High yesterday, October 17.

Girard’s time was 19.02 minutes.

Framingham sophomore Abigail DeVeau finished second in a personal-best time of 19.32 minutes.

Natick won the meet.

Natick junior Nicole Frail was third across the finish line at 19:49 minutes. a personal best time.

Red Hawk Ella Sheidley finished fourth with teammate Mary Dougherty was fifth overall.

Emma Rothwell was second for the Flyers, 15th overall at 22 minutes flat.

Seniors Paige Fisher and Kirsten Harrod were third and fourth for the Flyers at 16th and 17th overall. Both had personal best times.

Fisher’s time was 22.10 minutes. Harrod’s time was 22:12 minutes.

Framingham senior Tess Robinson was fifth Flyer across the finish line at 22:59 minutes, a season-best time. She finished 19th overall.

This was the regular season meet for the seniors on the team.
