UPDATED: Warriors and Flyers Battle To 1-1 Tie

BROOKLINE – The Framingham High and Brookline High soccer teams battled to a 1-1- tie on Thursday afternoon at Skyline Field.

The game was an evenly matched back and forth affair with both sides seeing numerous opportunities, said coach Jon Wood.

The lone Framingham High goal was scored by Ralpho Casimir on a beautiful shot from 30 yards out, said Wood.

Senior Anthony Moraga controlled the pace of play in the midfield.

Sophomore stopper John Halpin was excellent all day defensively as was senior outside back Chris Lopez, said coach Wood.

The Flyers play Somerville High School Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Framingham State University’s Maple Street Field.

Framingham is now 6-0-3 on the season.
