FRAMINGHAM – Members of the MetroWest Drug Task Force arrested a man and a woman on Clinton Street in Framingham Wednesday afternoon, September 18 on drug charges.
The charges against the woman were dismissed at the courthouse by Judge Matthew McGrath, yesterday.
Charles Claussen, 28, of 785 Great Road in Stow was arraigned on charges of possession of a Class A drug with intent to distribute, subsequent charge and possession of a Class B drug with intent to distribute, subsequent charge.
The MetroWest Drug Task Force, comprised of Framingham and Natick police officers, had been investigating Claussen, according to court documents.
Police said Claussen was selling narcotics out of an Edmands Road apartment that had been rented by a woman.
Police arrested Claussen with two plastic bags that contained heroin and another bag that contained cocaine. Claussen had more than $3,000 cash.
Yesterday, September 19, Judge McGrath set bail for Claussen at $2,000 bail. But he is being held without bail until October 11, as he has a probation violation hearing.
