FRAMINGHAM – MassBay Community College is pleased to welcome author and philanthropist, Bill Cummings, for a talk and book signing on Wednesday, September 25 on the Framingham campus at 5 p.m.
This event’s discussion will feature his book, Starting Small and Making It Big: An Entrepreneur’s Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist, and will include thoughtful reflections on the lessons he has learned about business, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
Cummings grew up poor during America’s Great Depression, but through a series of highly successful business ventures, became one of the wealthiest individuals in Massachusetts, and more importantly, one of the most prolific philanthropists. He never aspired to be a billionaire, and never acknowledged he was one, until long after it happened, because it is not money that motivates him, but rather the immense enjoyment he gets from building and growing successful businesses.
All attendees must register for this event at https://bill-cummings.eventbrite.com and will receive a free copy of Starting Small and Making It Big: An Entrepreneur’s Journey to Billion-Dollar Philanthropist.
Limited tickets are available and attendees must be registered to attend.
