Framingham Police Arrest Boston Man Following Crash

FRAMINGHAM – A Boston man was arrested, after a crash on Tuesday afternoon, September 17.

A resident told police that there was a vehicle with heavy front end damage in a driveway and the driver took off.

Police located the driver on Hollis Street.

The man told police several stories, including, he took the bus, it was his girlfriend’s vehicle, and that she drove the vehicle.

But police found the keys to the smashed car on the Boston man, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The man had no driver’s license on him either.

Framingham Police arrested Elijah Carpenter, 25, of 525 Massachusetts Avenue of Boston at Hollis Street and Willis Avenue at 2:30 p.m.

He was charged with operating a motor vehicle with no license, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest.
