Framingham Shuts Out Braintree 4-0

FRAMINGHAM – The The Framingham High School boys soccer team beat Braintree 4-0 at home today, September 17.

The Flyers jumped out to a 3-0 first-half lead on goals by captain Jose Flores, senior Gabe Padilla, and junior Matt Tichnor. It was Matt’s first varsity goal, said coach Jon Wood.

The scoring continued in the second half when senior Gabe Teotonio scored his first goal of the season.

Senior captain Ben Oberg was solid again in net and combined with senior goalie Jack Downey on the shutout, said coach Wood.

Defensively Gray Pierson and Aiden Trierweiler controlled the play and were outstanding, said coach Wood.

Framingham is now 3-0-1 this season.

Framingham will host Waltham High at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, September 19.
