Questions were solicited from residents, and we will be taking written questions from the audience at the event as time allows.
“An informed electorate is critical to the success of democracy, and local elections impact decisions in our own community. This is a great opportunity for residents to hear directly from the candidates their views on questions important to residents of Framingham. Be sure to vote
on September 17th,” said Stephanie Deeley, president of the League of Women Voters of Framingham.
District 1 City Council candidates will start the event at 1pm, followed by District 5 City Council candidates at approximately 2pm, and we will finish with District 8 School Committee candidates starting at approximately 3pm.
This event is being taped for broadcast on public access at a
later date, and will also be on Facebook Live on the LWV Facebook page.
