Waushakum Welcomers Block Party Saturday

FRAMINGHAM – All are encouraged to attend this Saturday’s Waushakum Welcomers Block Party at Anna Murphy Playground, organized by Downtown Framingham, Inc. (DFI).

This free event runs from 3 to 6 p.m. at Anna Murphy Playground (60 Cove Avenue). 

Attendees can park on-street along with at the Waushakum Beach, a short 5-minute walk from the park.

The event will feature face painting, a Mickey Mouse Moonwalk, corn hole, Eastleigh Farms Ice Cream truck, Framingham Sub Shop and Pizza, strike zone soccer, kite flying, kick ball, and duck pursuit.  Live bands include the Revolution Duo, Jack Mohrbacher, Boyish, and Why Try. 

DFI will facilitate ice-breaker conversations between attendees with similar interests, including gardening, reading, sports, community advocacy, and music.  Learn more about the Waushakum neighborhood and its residents: downtownframinghaminc.org/waushakum
