FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Framingham teen, 19, on a warrant for weapons and drug charges yesterday, September 3 at 2:20 a.m.
Arrested on Morton Street was Karen Portillo, 19, of 81 Irving Street of Framingham on a warrant out of Middlesex Superior Court, according to Police.
Last year, a Middlesex County Grandy Jury indicted Portillo on charges of possession of a large-capacity firearm, possession of a firearm without a license, possession of ammunition, improper storage of a large-capacity firearm, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute a Class B substance (cocaine).
She, and another man, was arrested by members of the MetroWest Drug Task Force in April of 2018 at an apartment at 368 Union Avenue, which was her address at that time, according to Police.
In April 2018, Police found in that apartment a .40 caliber Glock handgun with one bullet, and a clip with five more bullets and a couple of bullets in Portillo’s purse.
