Democratic Candidates to Speak Sunday Night

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Democratic Committee will resume its
meeting schedule this Sunday, September 8th, at 7:00 PM with a Democratic
Candidate’s Forum and its monthly business meeting.

At this meeting, registered Democrats running for office will have the opportunity to introduce themselves and discuss their reason for running and their platform.

Before and after the candidates’ presentations, there will be an opportunity for informal one-on- one discussions with the candidates.

In addition, there will be an introduction to a new effort of the Democratic National Committee, called “Organizing Corps 2020,” which is an effort to reach voters in several of the battleground states. The Committee will also discuss final plans for this year’s state convention which will be held the following weekend, September 14th at the MassMutual Center in Springfield.

The FDC normally meets on one Sunday evening each month. All those attending are asked to park their cars at the lot at 1071 Worcester Rd., which is on the corner of Maynard Rd and Rte. 9.
