Framingham Police Arrest Man on Cocaine & Heroin Charges

FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police arrested a Waltham man on heroin and cocaine charges on Monday, August 26.

Police witnessed the man getting in and out of vehicles at the Monticello Motel on Route 9 on Monday.

The Waltham man left the motel parking lot with a vehicle with a defective exhaust system and a failed inspection sticker said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.

When Police pulled the driver over, he had “heroin” all over him, said Lt Grigas.

The Waltham man argued with Police about getting out of the car, said Lt. Grigas.

Police found cocaine, heroin, sandwich bags, and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle, she said.

Arrested at 10:15 p.m. at 1323 Worcester Road was Hayk Kaya, 29, 102 Hobbs Road in Waltham.

He was charged with possession of a Class A drug (heroin) to distribute and possession of a Class B drug (cocaine).

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Framingham District Court on Tuesday.

He is a former forward on the MassBay soccer team. He signed with the Boston Victory soccer club in March 2012. He is a Turkish born Armenian, who first moved to USA in 1992.
