SLIDESHOW: Sneak Peak of Wayfair’s First-Ever Store

NATICK – Wayfair will open its first-ever brick & mortar store at the Natick Mall on Wednesday, August 21.

While several brick & mortar stores have closed due to Internet competition, Wayfair an Internet giant in home furnishings has decided to open a store.

And it is a feast for the eyes. Everything you need for your home can be found at the store.

SOURCE got a sneak peek of the store today, August 20 before doors open. Check out the photos below.

The Wayfair store is located on the first floor of the Natick Mall at 1245 Worcester St. in Natick, Mass. and will be open during standard mall hours.

In addition to exploring curated spaces or purchasing items off the shelf, shoppers can utilize Wayfair’s Custom Upholstery program to customize handcrafted furniture pieces across hundreds of colors and fabrics to match their individual style and budget.

The store can do custom furniture orders. Delivery is in about 2-3 weeks. Many items you can purchase and carry out, but bigger items can be delivered for free.

Shoppers can also step up to the Wayfair Home Bar for free design advice, ideas and inspiration. Using Wayfair Room Planner, consultants will help shoppers recreate actual rooms in their home or provide a blank canvas to completely reimagine their space.

By mixing and matching products from Wayfair’s massive catalog in their digital room, shoppers can play with a variety of styles and layouts and then visualize their creations in virtual reality at full scale – stepping into their newly designed room without leaving the store.

In addition, shoppers can quickly and easily log in to Wayfair Room Planner from the comfort of their home, picking up where they left off with their designer to continue transforming their space.

Don’t have what you want in the store. Don’t worry. You can order online at the store and have it shipped to your home.

Did you order online and not like your item? You can NOT return it to the Wayfair store, but Wayfair employees can print a label for you so you can return it for shipping. Purchase anything in the store and then change your mind? Yes, it can be returned.
