5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Tuesday, August 20, 2019

1  The City of Framingham will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony with Mayor Yvonne Spicer for the re-opening of its health clinic, today at 1 p.m.

The clinic closed in June, due to the construction of Fuller Middle School.

2. The Callahan Center will host the History of U.S. Political Cartoons at 6 p.m. The event is free.

3.. Members of the Class of 2020 at Framingham High School will be conducting tours for incoming freshman today. The tours are all week from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the high school. No appointment is needed.

4.. Today is the lottery for 6th grade slot at the Christa McAuliffe Charter School in Framingham


  • Framingham Loitering Ordinance meeting at 7 p.m. in the Blumer room at the Memorial Building.

According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer will attend the ribbon cutting of the new health clinic location on Concord Street in downtown Framingham.

The mayor will also meet with constituents from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building. No appointment is needed.
