SLIDESHOW: Framingham B Baseball Wins Bay State Championship

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham B Division baseball team, comprised mostly of 11-year-old players, won the championship.

The B team took home the crown by defeating Reading Red 8-5 to win the 2019 Baystate Tournament of Champions B Division.

This was a remarkable win as this team also won the C Division Championship just 1 year ago and now has back-to-back Championships under their belts.

This team had an overall record of 22-2 while taking home a gold and silver trophy before winning the Championship on Sunday August 11..

On Tuesday night, August 6, the B team trailed Natick 6-1 in the fourth inning before rallying back to defeat Natick 7-6 on a walk-off.

They then returned to the field on Wednesday August 7, and defeated Brookline 2-1 to make their second straight trip to the Baystate TOC.

The players on this championship team were Michael Chagnon, Jonathan Coutinho, Jackson Donato, Guiomar Gonzalez, Adam Kornbau, Seamus Manning, Ryan McAuliffe, Andrew Miller, Kevin Moreau, Tommy Moretti, Ben Morse, Xander Norton, Noah Sonnerberg and Bryce Todd.

The head coach is Mike Todd.
