5 Things You Need To Know Today in Framingham: Thursday, August 15, 2019

1  The City’s three public beaches will close for the season today at 7 p.m. They are Lake Waushakum, Saxonville Beach and Learneds Pond in the Warren-Oakes neighborhood.

2. The Framingham Farmers’ Market will be open today from noon to 5:30 p.m. on the Framingham Center Common.


  • Framingham Seal Development Committee will meet today at 5 p.m. in City Hall
  • Team Framingham will meet today at 7 p.m. in the executive conference room in the Memorial Building
  • Framingham Planning Board has a meeting today at 7 in the Ablondi room in the Memorial Building.

4. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer will be at the Boston MPO meeting in Framingham at the Memorial Building this morning.

She will meet with the MetroWest College Planning Collaborative team at 10:30 a.m. at City Hall.

5. The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is hosting a summer outing tonight at the Sheraton Hotel & Conference Center for members and non-members.
