Framingham D Baseball Makes It To Final 4

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham D Division team, comprised of 9-year-old players from Framingham Youth Baseball, made it to the final four this year.

The team beat Georgetown 8-7 on Tuesday August 6, behind strong pitching performances from Will Torres, Brian Chagnon, and Chase Chase DiBenedetto.

They followed that win by defeating Newburyport 7-1 on Wednesday August 7, with strong pitching from Charlie Saris and Brian Chagnon to get the team to the Final Four.

On Saturday August 10, a win would put them into the championship game on Sunday, however, the team was defeated by Chelmsford 11-0 to end their season.

They had a great season going 15-4 overall and winning two Silver Trophies.

The players on the team were Desmond Ainscow, Chase DiBenedetto, Alex Goldberg, Jackson Halpin, Jack Jesman, Henry Lysaght, Luke Miller, Asher Misiph, Charlie Saris, Carter Shippey, Will Torres, Colin Walsh, and Bryson Wyatt.

The head coach was Scott Jesman.
