FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Yvonne Spicer has nominated Cynthia Blackwell to serve on the Fuller School Building Committee.
The Curtis Road resident is a biomedical engineer/physical scientist working for the U.S. Army. She is in District 9.
“My expertise is in project leadership and management. My experience includes, research and development of advanced clothing and equipment systems; portfolio management and strategic planning. I have worked successfully with a variety of subject matter experts including architect and engineering firms, logisticians, engineers and others,” Blackwell wrote in her application for the opening.
“I am currently Project Director for the construction of a $62M, 80,000sf laboratory containing 10 Human Science laboratories and housing 70 scientists and engineers,” she wrote in her application.
The Mayor’s office did not release how many applicants there were for the opening.
