Photo of the Day: Americans With Disabilities Day in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM – Today s the 29th anniversary of the signing of the Americans With Disabilities Act by President George Bush in 1990.

Today, July 26, the Framingham Disability Commission marked the occasion with a tour of Historic Village Hall, which was recently renovated to allow access for all.

Framingham Disability Commission Chair Karen Foran Dempsey was given a citation by City of Framingham Chief Operating Officer Thatcher Kezer III, which declared Friday, July 26, Americans with Disability Day in the City of Framingham. The Proclamation was signed by Mayor Yvonne Spicer, who did not attend the ceremony.
