Framingham State University Offering Housing For MassBay Students

FRAMINGHAM – MassBay Community College and Framingham State University announced today, July 23, that MassBay students are eligible for housing on the Framingham State campus.

The 2019-2020 academic year will be the third consecutive year MassBay students will be residents on the Framingham State campus, which has welcomed approximately 50 MassBay students to residential life since fall of 2017.

“The Framingham State University housing option is a way for our students to have the complete on-campus residential college experience,” said MassBay President, Dr. David Podell. “It’s usually more affordable option than finding an apartment in the area, and students receive many amenities to assist with their studies, as well as the opportunity to live among other college students. Several of our students travel great distances, even internationally, for our programs at MassBay and it’s great that they have the opportunity to live in a Framingham State residence hall.”

Framingham State University has seven residence halls on campus, including two that were built within the past seven years.

“Involvement in a residence hall community enhances the overall college experience for many students,” says Framingham State University President F. Javier Cevallos. “We are pleased to offer on-campus housing to interested MassBay students, as well as access to the many social and academic resources we have on campus.”

MassBay students who are interested in living on-campus must be full-time MassBay students and will be able to use all the amenities on the Framingham State campus including; dining facility and campus center, game rooms, library and study areas, recreation and wellness center and more.

Students who are interested in living on the Framingham State campus are encouraged to contact the Office of Residence Life at Framingham State University to learn more about the partnership at or 508-626-4636.
