FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Department of Public Works will start overnight milling operations (paving) on Summer Street starting Tuesday night, July 16. Work is scheduled to be completed on July 18.
The scope of the work pavement milling on Summer Street to Concord Street (Route 126).
This is a 3-phase operation, said Framingham DPW.
- Phase I Central to Beacon
- Phase II Beacon to Cherry
- Phase III Cherry to Concord
Work will be starting tonight, July 16 at 7 and end around 5 a.m. Work will continue on Wednesday and Thursday too.
Direction of traffic flow will be one-way one lane eastbound traffic flow. Westbound traffic will be detoured. (see maps below)
The road will be Passable at all times to emergency vehicles. Police details will be onsite to facilitate safe vehicular and pedestrian traffic flow.
