SLIDESHOW: Banner Hill Church Hosts Community Family BBQ at Farm Pond

FRAMINGHAM -Banner Hill Church, which holds Sunday services at Framingham State University, hosted a free community BBQ at Farm Pond on Saturday evening, July 13.

Daniel’s Table provided free hotdogs and hamburgers for attendees.

The church provided outdoor games, a bouncy house, an outdoor inflatable obstacle course, a DJ, and free face painting.

Pastor Bryan Shippey was seen tossing the football. He moved to Framingham in 2017 with his wife Jodi and their five children from Texas.

Unfamiliar with Banner Hill Church? You may have seen the church volunteers with their red “ALL IN for Framingham” t-shirts around the city. They have volunteered at the Parks & Recreation annual egg hunt, MetroFest, and were in the Flag Day parade too. But they also volunteer with several social service agencies in the city, including food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.
