FRAMINGHAM – Banner Hill Church will host a free community, family festival at Farm Pond in Framingham on July 13.
The church meets Sunday at 6 p.m. at the McCarthy Center at Framingham State University, but Saturday it will host a 2-hour family event from 5 to 7 p.m. with bouncy houses, face painting, hotdogs, and summer games, like corn hole and hula hoops.
Pastor Bryan Shippey moved to Framingham in 2017 with his wife Jodi and their five children from Texas.
You may have seen the church volunteers with their red “ALL IN for Framingham” t-shirts around the city. They have volunteered at the Parks & Recreation annual egg hunt, and MetroFest, and the Concert on the Common.
But they also volunteer with several social service agencies in the city, including food pantries, shelters, and soup kitchens.
