SUDBURY – The 55th Annual Dinner of The 200 Foundation raised more than $100,000 for local organization, said Foundation President Philip Ottaviani Jr., a Framingham resident.
The event, which features appetizers and cocktails, and then a sit-down steak dinner, attracted more than 300 people at $275 per person.
There was a silent auction before the dinner, and a live auction after the dinner.Following all the food and auctions at the Wayside Inn in Sudbury, was a comedic performance by Lenny Clarke.
For the second year in a row Massachusetts Lt. Governor Karyn Polito attended the event.
Founded in 1952, The 200 Foundation is dedicated to raising funds to aid non-profit organizations throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts.
Their mission is simply “to work together to provide assistance to those most in need.”
The organization is 100% volunteer. There are no salaries or compensation for any board member or volunteer.
