Man Stabbed With Broken Beer Bottle In Chest; Framingham Man Arrested on Intent To Murder Charge

FRAMINGHAM – A Framingham man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with intent to murder, after police said he stabbed another man with a broken beer bottle in the chest multiple times.

The victim was taken to UMass Memorial Medical Center, with a punctured lung, and multiple stab wounds.

The incident happened at 8:34 p.m. on June 28.

Arrested was Romaine Myers, 38, of 3 Merchant Road, of Framingham. He was charged with aggravated assault with the intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (beer bottle).

The fight started over beer cans and bottles on the victim’s property on Beaver Street.
