FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library said its Star Wars Celebration a few years ago was so popular, they are making it bigger and better for its Universe of Stories Summer Reading 2019!


The schedule for the day is as follows:

Summer Reading Kick-Off  from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. — Sign up for Summer Reading and enjoy food, games, Star Wars music, stormtroopers from the 501st Legion, an R2D2 courtesy of Bob Phinney of New England Sci-Tech in Natick, and more!

Peter Struzziero’s famous Star Wars Symposium and Museum from noon to 2 p.m. — Peter has been obsessed with Star Wars since the first movie came out in 1977, and he loves to share his passion with everyone! He’s bringing his traveling Star Wars Toy museum for people to admire, as well as Star Wars trivia, fun videos, history, and lots of fun.

Screening of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope (PG) at 2:30 p.m. The Library will be screening the 1976 classic movie that kickstarted millions of imaginations with some fresh movie popcorn!
