RAMINGHAM – A Lights for Liberty Vigil will take place in front of the Memorial Building at 150 Concord Street in Framingham on July 12.
The event is from 7 to 9 p.m., starting with speakers at 7, followed by a silent candlelight vigil.
The Lights for Liberty Vigils will be held nation-wide to shine a light on the horrific abuses of the Trump administration in human detention camps,” said organizers Nicole Doak and Jane Murphy.
Across the nation, legislators, activists, organizers, and members of impacted communities will speak until 9 p.m.
At 9 p.m., a silent sea of candles in cities, towns, homes, and especially at every detention camp, will light up the nation, said the organizers locally.
The public is invited to join.
