FRAMINGHAM – On May 6, the City of Framingham announced Brewster Ambulance Service as its new provider, after 25 years with AMR.
Today, June 23, Brewster started its service with the City of Framingham. The contract officially starts on July 1.
Brewster will provide:
5 state-of-art, brand new ambulances staffed with paramedics 24-hours-a-day, 365-day–a-year
Paramedic supervisor dedicated to the City
Mobile simulation lab for advanced medical skills training for Framingham firefighters
Specialized incident resources – mobile rehab units, utility-type vehicles and drones for City of Framingham use
Future mobile integrated health programs to assist in limiting unnecessary emergency room visits
