Framingham Woman Involved in Fatal Motorcycle Crash


WATERBORO, MAINE – Police in Maine are investigating a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV, that resulted in the death of the motorcyclist.

Kimberly Sawyer, 53, of Freeport Maine, who was driving the 2018 Harley-Davidson motorcycle died at the scene of the Saturday afternoon crash, said York County Sheriff William L. King Jr. in a news release.

Police said Sawyer’s motorcycle struck an 2016 Fiat SUV operated by Cara Crabb-Burnham, 33, of Framingham, Massachusetts.

According to the Sheriff’s office, the crash took place at the intersection of Townhouse Road, Deering Ridge Road, and Webber Road in Waterboro, Maine.

No charges had been filed, the crash is under investigation.

The crash is being re-constructed by the Maine Wardens Service.
