FRAMINGHAM – Thanks to Project Bread, there will be free lunch for kids under age 18 at the Framingham Public Library this summer, three days a week.
Starting Monday, June 24, lunch will be served for kids from noon to 2 p.m. downstairs in the children’s section at the main Framingham Library only.
This is the third year of free lunches served at the Framingham Library.
Free lunches will be served at the main Framingham Library on Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays during the summmer.
The lunch will consist of a sandwich, milk, and a fruit. The menu will be differently daily. Project Bread is conscious of allergies and will have the list of ingredients available each day.
Project Bread is also supplying free lunches to kids at Pelham Apartments, the MetroWest Boys & Girls Clubs and the MetroWest YMCA, too,but these programs are not open to the public.
