FRAMINGHAM – Recycle your old electronics and support Framingham High School’s Robotics program on Saturday, June 15.
The event is at Framingham High School, 115 A Street, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If attendees pay a small fee, the Framingham High Robotics team will make sure old electronics are disposed of properly.
The fees to recycle each item are:
$1 for each cell phone (and other small portable devices)
$5 for each inkjet printer, VCR, scanner and toaster oven
$10 for each computer, laptop, microwave oven, laser printer, dehumidifier and all flat screen computer monitors
$15 for each TV with screens measuring less than 24” diagonally (including all flat screen TVs)
$25 for each TV measuring 24” and above, and window air conditioner and other large object
$30 for each projection, wooden and console TV, all white goods, such as washers, dryers, refrigerators and stoves.
Charges for larger items are based on size.
All hard drives are sanitized, erased or destroyed and every items will be recycled by A & P Enterprises of Berkley MA.
FHS Robotics is the only public high school in Massachusetts to have qualified for and attended the VEX Robotics World Championship for the last six years in a row.
Participating in the electronics recycling helps to support the Robotics Program.
