FRAMINGHAM – First responders are at the scene of a very serious motorcycle crash in downtown Framingham this afternoon, June 11.
The crash is at Beaver and Second Street. The crash involved a motorcycle and a truck.
MWRTA buses and other vehicles are being re-routed.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
Injuries are very serious.
One person was transported, said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigas.
Scott Hayes said he was on the scene “maybe 15 seconds after” the crash.
Hayes said the motorcycle “was heading west on Beaver (Street) at a high rate of speed.
Hayes said the motorcycle “hit a pick up truck turning left onto Second,” Street.
A man, in his 60s, was driving the pick-up truck said Hayes.
Hayes said the motorcyclist was a man in his 20s.
“Me and a DPW guy stopped and gave first aid (and CPR) said Hayes, until police, fire, and EMTs arrived on the scene.
Road is closed, said Lt. Grigas.
State Police are also on the scene with Framingham Police.
