VIDEO: Natick Police Want To Know If You Have Seen This Shoplifter?

Shoplifting May 20, 2019

We spend countless hours trying to get into the head of our customers. The individual pictured was in a local shop on May 20th. Although the value of the items taken were not on the grandiose scale, it was in fact a theft and is still currently something we are focused on curtailing. Besides being just plain wrong we are consumers and events like this drive the prices up.We usually provide the footage of the actual theft and could easily do that here, but the video leading up to the theft is far more compelling. We examined it closely and the process this adult male goes through before the actual act of concealing product was evocative of something familiar. It took a little while, but we think we know exactly what was running through his mind as he made his choices. We had to shorten the video because we were spending way too much time watching it.Please refer to: 19-521-OFAnyone that can assist with the identification is asked to contact the Natick Police Department Detective Division at: 508-647-9520.
