Albright Takes 2nd Place in High Jump At All-State Meet

WESTFIELD – Framingham High sophomore Sophie Albright finished in second place at the all-state track meet on Saturday in the high jump held at Westfield State University.

Albright leaped 5-feet, 8-inches, the same height as New England Champion Anna Jordahl-Henry of Wellesley High, who is a senior, but took second place due to the tie-breaker rules, said head track coach Chris Collins.

Next up for Albright is the New England meet this weekend in Maine.

Albright already holds the Framingham High School record in the high jump.
