FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham has received a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness planning grant from the Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy & Environmental Affairs.
This grant enabled Framingham to identify and analyze the community’s risks and strengths in the face of climate change.
As a result, Framingham will work to become certified as an MVP Community making the community eligible for grant money to address climate change issues.
Thus the City of Framingham is hosting a “listening session” to report and discuss its findings with the community.
The session is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5 at the Memorial Building in Nevins Hal from 6 to 7 p.m.
The public is invited.
