FRAMINGHAM – Framingham High School Athletic Director Paul Spear announced the hiring of Ashley Paulsen as the new Assistant Director of Athletics.
A 2009 graduate of Framingham High, she currently teaches in the health and physical education department.
She is a graduate of Arizona State and has been working for the Framingham Public Schools as a teacher and a gymnastics coach for the last three years.
Paulsen is currently seeking her Masters Degree in Sports Management with a concentration in Athletics Administration.
“Ashley’s enthusiasm as an alum of Framingham High School combined with her knowledge of athletics from competing and coaching here make her an ideal candidate for this position. She has shown a great capacity to be organized, work in a fast-paced environment, while being a terrific support for students,” said Spear.
Paulsen replaces Mike Bissanti, who will continue with Framingham High School as a teacher in health and physical education, while continuing duties with athletics as the Flyers’ strength coach.
“I am very excited to join the team in the Framingham Athletic Department and I look forward to supporting and facilitating the efforts of our student athletes,’ said Paulsen.
