UPDATED: Framingham Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Woman Stabbed on Memorial Day

FRAMINGHAM – A woman was stabbed this morning, on Memorial Day, and a Framingham woman was arrested.

Framingham Police have one in custody and arrested, said Lt. Patricia Grigas.

The police log has Devonrick Schouten, 30, arrested at 7:02 a.m. at 154 Union Ave.

Schouten, who lives at that arrest in Apartment 12, was charged with attempted murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, according to the log.

The woman, 44, was stabbed in her abdomen. She was flown to UMass Memorial in Worcester. Her condition is not known at this time.

In September 2016, Schouten was arrested and charged in another stabbing on Cape Cod. She tried to stab a woman in the stomach with the broken neck of a beer bottle.
